Guide Listing
We have put together some basic guidelines for becoming listed in the Pinehurst Hotels & Visitor's Guide.
Our Objective
Our goal is to provide useful and unbiased information about local places of interest and activities for those visiting our area for vacations, relocations, and business. We start with the obvious need to locate a place to stay while visiting, and spotlight restaurants, golf, equestrian, shopping, and other types of destinations and activities unique to our area.
To list your organization or business in our directory
please email us the following information
- Name of business -required
- Web site address
- Telephone number -required
- Email address
- Physical address (for mapping)-required
- Mailing address (if different from physical address)
- A description of your offering -required
- Hours of operation
- Photos of your place of business, product, service, or other type of location
A note on descriptions: Please feel free to provide any information you wish as long as you follow the notes below on what to avoid.
Please avoid the following in listing details:
- Overly promotional language with a lot of exclamation marks!
- Anything illegal, distasteful, offensive, or inaccurate
- Any information that will expire in a period of time. For example, specials and promotions should not be included. Rates on rooms may and should be included for general reference.
- Simply copy-and-pasting existing web page contents. Please submit uniquely written descriptions which are not "duplicated" from a page you already have online.
Listing Requirements:
The only requirement for listing on our site is that we have the required information from above and that you provide a web link to our us with the following words included in your link text Pinehurst Hotels
We reserve the right to list, not list, remove, or edit any listing at any time for any reason. We are not responsible for errors, omissions or other damages. We reserve the right to link directly to sites, or related online booking services as appropriate. You agree to these terms fully and unconditionally by submitting information to us.
General Submissions
We are always looking for ways to represent events and things to do throughout the year with photos, news, or anything else that helps visitors appreciate the area and plan their visits. We can only accept works that you hold the copyright to, and for which you release full permission to reuse, edit, and represent in any way.
